   The food and service were great. Upon leaving, we mentioned to the host that the pianist played very loud music. She said others had previously complained and he was told on several different occasions to "tone it down". Then she said he continues to play loudly regardless of the requests. An otherwise great dinner was compromised since we could not communicate without shouting at each other.

   The food was excellent and you will not find better service anywhere. The atmosphere is fantastic. Well done!

   Not always a fan of this restaurant but it was lovely last night. Short rib OUTSTANDING. A must order. Only big negative is the mediocre wine list by the glass.

   Neat old establishment, we were seated promptly and ordered our drinks, I ordered an entree my wife ordered a salad for dinner we were splitting the entire meal the salad and the entree. The salad came out immediately even before we received our drinks. We did then receive our drinks after we had eaten the salad. The rest of the food came out shortly after that, but the feeling of being rushed just made the whole meal kind of unpleasant. The server was nice and apologetic.

   Went for our 30th anniversary- very nice quaint tavern and restaurant located in historic inn. Outstanding food and service by Sophia and the bar manager. Piano music was very pleasant. Get the halibut!!!! Complimentary warm biscuits w honey to start thing off are outstanding and unique.

   The 1790 House is another always visit while in Savannah. The food, the drinks and the service are always wonderful. The live music is another plus.

   Started the experience at the bar where the staff, drinks and atmosphere were great! The other customers (some of which were locals) were fun and engaging. Then to dinner in the dining room. Atmosphere, food and service were impeccable and my wife and I both commented on the reasonability of the cost for the experience. No doubt we’ll definitely be back if we find ourselves in Savannah again. I highly recommend this place to anyone reading this review. We had lots of good food in Savannah, but this by far was the best experience.

   Second time dining here. Love the ambiance and selection, though I did feel this visit our food was overly seasoned. Ordered lamb chops, which were tiny for the price but tasty, and my daughter had the pork chop, which was juicy and well-portioned. Good wine list, excellent cocktails and fine deserts.
