   Yes it’s “touristy” but what else would you expect? It’s a fun, lively place and with the recommendations we received from the staff we ended up having a delicious dinner (Colorado buffalo steaks). If you find the idea of having to grill your food next to friends and family unattractive, this place is not for you. We loved it.

   We had a really fun and tasty dinner at the 8th Street steakhouse! Our server.Derrick was amazing and super interesting. He took great care of us and helped recommend some amazing steaks. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again next time we're in Steamboat!

   Tim and his staff work every way possible to ensure every quests have an excellent experience at 8th Street. The food is fresh, tender and the best around. The ambience is remarkable and especially with the grill your own meat. I have been visiting here for many years and 8th Street is by far the best food and service around. There is a large bar, great drinks and draft beer. I highly recommended it.

   Derek was our server and we still can’t decide what was better, the service, the atmosphere, or the food! Exceptional restaurant! We will 100% be back when we are in town!

    Food was great. Server and colleagues were pretty attentive to our needs but didn't hover. Restaurant was pretty packed (on a Monday night) and with wood walls, ended up being pretty loud. Most entrees are cook-it-yourself. That worked well for us as knew about that in advance. But if standing around a hot grill with 10+ neighbors to cook your dinner is not your thing, then I would go somewhere else. We would definitely go back.
