Fully refurbished in late 2021 with a brand new look; Albert’s Shed is a stylish city centre restaurant with the advantage of a location at the centre of the Castlefield canal basin.

The Castlefield Rooms offer a boutique, out of the ordinary, venue in central Manchester, in a stunning position within a conservation area on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal. With a superb location in Manchester City Centre, near all major transport links, complimentary on site parking and the highest levels of service and cuisine, the Castlefield Rooms are the perfect venue to hold your wedding, corporate event or party. We offer a choice of three contrasting spaces for anything from 25 to 250 guests together with a range of competitively priced event packages. The versatility of the spaces is also reflected in the variety of menus available from the acclaimed kitchens of Albert’s Shed Restaurant and Dukes 92 which are located on the same site as The Castlefield Rooms. Whichever space you decide on you will have our dedicated Events Team on hand to ensure the smooth and efficient running of your event.

The Lunch menu was very nice. Good quality food. Great wine. Great service. One of the diners was very happy with the gluten free menu. Excellent choice of GF options.

We always get great service and food at Albert's Shed. You can see some days they have been really busy but the staff are always warm and welcoming and speedy too. The food is great quality. Shout out to Natalie (I think that's the Irish team member) and the lovely manager who took care of us on Sunday. See you again soon.

Everybody in the party enjoyed everything we ordered which was a wide variety. it was a great atmosphere and the service was good

One of our favourite places, but unfortunately disappointing experience this time. Starter came and was cold in the middle they did change it and the next one is fine. The main course steak had been sous vide and had little taste. Very disappointed, unfortunately, but we will try again sometime

Very enjoyable lunch, with some changes to the inclusive menu. Pleasant ambience, and very attentive service. My friend who drives appreciates the parking arrangements.

Lovely restaurant, great for a get together with friends and enjoy good food. Little noisy due to a large party dining at the same time, and it was a little slow in brining over drinks (they arrived after our food) but it was delicious and we would definitely return if in Manchester again. Our waitresses were also very friendly and welcoming. Price wise it's value for money and the food is quite luxurious.
