Alexander's is an oasis for award winning cuisine, wine, and craft cocktails. Over the years we've twice been awarded the Open Table Top 100 in the US restaurant designation and in 2018, Southern Living Magazine named us one of the Ten Most Romantic Restaurants in the South. Built in the 1880s as Roanoke's first office supply company, our vintage building has been transformed into a retro chic rendition of the classic urban restaurants of our great culinary cities. Alexander's is the best restaurant in Roanoke. The service and food are always reliably fantastic. We enjoyed the pecan encrusted chicken and the lamb, along with the cheese tray appetizer, wine and cocktails. Everything we ordered was perfect. We are fortunate to have this restaurant in Roanoke.

Another wonderful night out at Alexander’s! The waitstaff is top notch and we all enjoyed our food. Our table ordered Duck, Rabbit and Steak. All orders were as requested.

Thursday night date night was made extra special by Alexanders. Delightful meal from appetizers to dessert. Our evening was enhanced with a couple of nuances in the menu, especially the duck and the coconut cake dessert. Wine pairing were perfect.
