   Had a great experience, with the staff being attentive with all our needs. The table overlooking the waterfall was wonderful on a sunny afternoon, and the food was delicious.

   The entire ambient is very nice, the river, the falls… then you have the food, very well done. Everything we order was delicious (mushroom risotto, shrimp sandwich, salmon, panacota). The waiter was very nice as well, so attentive - I regret not asking his name to be able to mention here. We will be returning to try the brunch, it seems amazing 😊

   Apps and entrees were good- desserts were okay. Service was superb. We asked for a quiet table because guest of honour was elderly. We were told the restaurant would not be busy so a quiet table wouldn’t be a problem. NOT! The section we were seated in was packed and loud! Yet the rest of the restaurant was basically empty. Ruined the night for the birthday girl!! Don’t promise what you can’t fulfill.

   Great experience. We rounded off our Mill tour with Ancaster and will definitely be back - by far our favourite of the 3. Service was slow. Clearing of plates, resetting of cutlery and drink refills. No real issues - just slow enough to notice based on our expectations from the other locations. Loved that duck was offered! Chicken and waffles, oysters and the passion fruit meringues were also a few of our favourites. Restaurant layout and atmosphere is absolutely stunning. Staff was very friendly and welcoming

   The food and service were top notch, my only complaint is about the music/performer it’s very loud and bothers if you want to have a conversation at the table. My husband complains about it to the server but nothing changed. It’s nice to have a music in the background but it has to be subtle.

   Unfortunately I cannot boast of my experience at The Ancaster Mill. Our waiter didn't take the time to introduce himself and spent most of the evening attending to other patrons. We felt that somehow we had been judged before we even sat down for our meal. I am unsure if it was my age, or if we labelled somehow...but it was off-putting. The live music was far too loud and distracting. The meal itself looked great but not extravagant. It seemed that the "experience" was lacking the service attention that a dinner night should entail. I thought by avoiding a "chain" restaurant for a special occasion, we would at least have a pleasant experience. Sent some feedback to the restaurant and I never received a reply. It's unfortunate. The building and location are stunning but I wouldn't go out of my way to give it another chance.

    The brunch was absolutely amazing, you have many options such as meat, seafood, charcuterie, pastries, and among others. Not to mention the price was worth it. Moreover the service was great, and the environment was normal nothing special but it was good enough.
