A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.

Showed up 10 minutes early. Was seated by the bathroom and by the back upstairs next to two loud drunk men. Plenty of tables to put us at a better location. As we were served by your wonderful waiter we had to listen to chatter of people waiting to use the single use bathrooms - and many times there were lines. We were going to ask one couple if they wanted a seat. So disappointed….Food was fabulous. Best filet and tuna was super fresh. Wish we were given better treatment by your hostess.

We had a pleasant dinner upstairs. Once the sun wasn’t in our eyes, it was much better. Food excellent, especially the black grouper

Tha service was very good. The food was delicious. It was well prepared and unique. The only complaint was we were seated at a small table next to the door kind if cramped but the food and the service made up for that.

The food is exquisite, the service excellent and environment is charming and understated. We dined on the upper balcony at the level of tree branches with views of the street. Lovely experience.

The food and service were wonderful! The noise on Duval was a little annoying but not the restaurants fault.

The food was good, though one of the food runners couldn’t properly identify that he had brought us the wrong salads. Had I known that the restaurant levies an additional 3% charge if paying by credit card, I would not have selected this restaurant, and I won’t be returning as long as that policy is in place. You either accept credit cards as payment or you don’t; it’s discriminatory to penalize those who pay that way.

My wife and I shared the Caviar our first night, we loved it so much we came back the next night and had the Hogfish which was equally great. Highly recommend, make reservation for sure. Sit on the porch is available to people watch on Duval while dining.

The ambiance was amazing. We sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the people watching ALMOST as much as we enjoyed our dinners! Our server was wonderful and the seated ahi was fresh and done to perfection! They have a great wine list, too! This restaurant is the difference between having a chef and a cook!
