Barolo Grill's New Year's Eve dinner is a 4-course menu with options at each course for $185 per person (prior to tax, gratuity, and any optional add-ons). No other menus will be offered for this evening. The experience will be a unique menu to the evening with special items and optional wine pairings at multiple levels. We had high expectations based on the great reviews, but were very disappointed with our experience. The halibut was the worst piece of fish I’ve ever had at any restaurant. It was way overcooked, extremely dry, and under seasoned on top of it. The Tajarin I got as a replacement was a littler better, but was also under seasoned. My wife’s risotto was also mediocre. The brussels sprouts salad I had as an appetizer was the highlight of the meal—it was more along the lines of what we expected given the reviews and accolades. Overall quite a disappointment. Maybe there was a substitute chef who didn’t know what they were doing or something, or the kitchen staff was having a really bad day, but based on our experience this time, this restaurant is way overrated and I would not recommend.

First time at Barolo did not disappoint! The atmosphere is cozy and the food is incredible. Get the lamb!

I’m not sure there’s a better restaurant in the region. Alex is one of the best servers in town. This is just an amazing place to spend time and money. The experience can’t be beat.

This was our first visit. It was amazing. We couldn’t decide what to eat so we asked Dani (our fabulous server) if she can do the wine pairing menu and be our tour guide for the evening. She loved the idea and four courses later we were not disappointed! The food and wine was incredible. My son and I sampled each others food and wine so we actually had 8 courses and 8 wine tastings! What an evening. The next time I am back in Denver I will 100% guaranteed return! Thanks Dani for a great evening.

I hadn't been to Barolo Grill in 20+ years. My first and only time there prior to this was not a good experience. We were in the room farthest away from the main dining room, and it was as if we were invisible to our server. Our dinner took forever because he rarely came to the table. My experience this past Saturday was far from that. We had an amazing server. The food was fantastic, but service can make or break a meal, like it had done in the past. This server was amazing. We were, however, a little shocked when we each purchased a $17 cocktail, and the small glass wasn't even half full. There was a huge ice cube in the middle of the glass which helped push the level of liquid up to barely half full. You have to be prepared that Barolo isn't cheap. This place was packed with a vibrant crowd. It's like people kept pouring through the door. I love to see this and am very happy that a restaurant of this caliber can stay in business 30+ years. What a feat!

The food is always great. The truffles (specifically white) made the dishes stand out. Our server, Mellanie, was outstanding. She added so much to the experience. Outstanding meal, service and night.
