The Bashi restaurant was very pleasant experience for our afternoon luncheon get together. Since it was a little cloudy and cool outside they adjusted the heaters and brought us blankets to keep warm. The food was great and out waitress Leilani was very warm and friendly and the other servers were also great including Ethan. The manager Oksana came over and visited with us and was very warm and welcoming . A great experience and wonderful service. I would highly recommend Bashi snd want to return soon.

We ate at the bar.. food was delicious, service great.. lighting over the bar too bright. Not much ambiance inside restaurant. The views from outside tables is where it’s at.

Food was really good and service was ok until the server grabbed my plate spilling sauce on my lap. I understand mistakes happen but an apology would have been appreciated.

We left the horrible service at Nelson‘s to find this gem of an Asian restaurant. Highly recommend the garlic noodles, bang bang shrimp and potstickers. Our waiter Tyler was perfectly attentive and had thoughtful suggestions. I do think Nelson‘s needs new management. I’ll just say that here.

We have been coming to Bashi for years. It is one of our favorite restaurants. The food and service are excellent, and you can't beat the beautiful location.

The restaurant was nicely located near the pool and has the great view of the Pacific coast. The views is everything but the service is poor and the food mediocre. Hosts are snotty and unwelcoming. Both females were not accommodating to our request to be seated outdoors. It was obvious that there were many open tables available when the outgoing party has ended their meals. But still, no one approached us and offered us to be seated outdoors. They just passed us and ignored us even though I personally told them our request on the host stand prior to being seated. That if one is able right away we would like to be relocated. There were several occasions where we were just waiting but alas nothing happened. Very poor services from these two young female hosts. One was ginger haired and the other brunette. The waitress was more accommodating but the taste of the food that we ordered was subpar from what we were expecting from an Asian fusion restaurant. Clearly it wasn’t authentic from the taste all the way to the presentation. Would I return to dine? That would be a clear NO. If only the next door restaurant Catalina Kitchen didn’t have that $140 a person Xmas meal thing happening we would’ve gone there instead. I don’t recommend this establishment. Please train your staff accordingly especially your 2 ill-trained host employees. Sorry, Not Sorry.
