    Amazing food, great service…which is what we love about Baxter’s. Even with being very busy, you can still hear everyone talk and the restaurant never feels over crowded. My husband and I had a great evening there on New Year’s Eve!!

    Highly recommend! We have been twice and both times our food has been amazing as well as our server being very attentive and quick!

    We both had a New York Strip for $39 each. They were both cooked medium which was fine, but the meat had a lot of gristle in it. They were very poor quality. Our baked potatoes were both served barely warm and mine was not done. The service was excellent but the food was poor.

    The ribeye steaks were tough and flavorless. The macaroni and cheese was dry and overcooked. We specifically asked our server (Andrea) what was on the mixed greens salad. She said “Greens, croutons, tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese.” The salads arrived topped with pickled red onions (YUCK!). Oh, and it’s not Parmesan cheese but mozzarella or Jack - which is fine, but not what Andrea said. We also asked her what kind of potatoes are used for the mashed potatoes - russet, Yukon gold, or something else? (At one time Yukon gold were being used which we don’t care for) She said she didn’t know so she asked someone and promptly returned with the answer of “Idaho potatoes.” LOL! Yeah, that’s not an answer so that’s why we tried the mac and cheese. So, we were overall disappointed this outing. It wasn’t so bad we won’t return, but a huge letdown for Christmas Eve dinner. Hopefully next time will be better.

    Love the Baxter salad. Order it with your entree. Chicken piccata was yummy. I like the asparagus with it. Service was good and great value.
