Stopped in on our way home from Knotts! Our waitress was great! Chef was great! Food was great as usual!

We loved our experience but I resented waiting 35 minutes for my table when I had a reservation.

The Benihana team was really trying but understaffed which resulted in slower service than usual, still a very tasty meal.

We got there before our reservation but checked in immediately. We watched the hostess seat all the parties that arrived after us. Finally after we asked, she sat us. Our favorite dish is no longer on the menu but luckily we were still able to order it. We had a Birthday Club coupon which no longer covers any meal on the menu. All the prices have gone up dramatically. But the Birthday Coupon has not gone up in value. No loner is a picture nor the Buddha candle offered. This was my 61st time returning for a special occasion but Bennihanna has reduced the special experience. A shame, my family started going to Bennihanna’s in Encino in 1965.

David was our chef and he was fantastic, best we’ve ever had in over 50 times at a variety of Benihana restaurants. The Holiday menu bumped up the prices, which was disappointing since it was more than a week before Christmas. Three people came in at over $200, not what we expected since we were there for lunch.

Didn’t get seated until 7:30pm with a 6:30pm reservation. Hostess blamed the open table app. Then sat our table for the chef, didn’t get out of there til 9:30pm. Very disappointing

Thank you to Trevor, our outstanding chef, he made my son and I laugh while amazing us with his talents. And of course the food was amazing. Thank you Trevor for great entertainment, a great meal, and overall being a great person!

Santos and Drake were amazing! Santos was so fun, preparing our dinner and bringing his own flare to the table. Drake was so attentive and personable. Overall, the experience was so fun!
