Birch & Vine is an innovative restaurant within the hip boutique hotel known as The Birchwood. Birch & Vine takes a seasonal approach to crafting its Globally Inspired cuisine. As the seasons change and the bounty of the land and sea evolves, so do the menus at Birch & Vine. Located on famous Beach Drive in the Downtown St. Petersburg district, the restaurant sits across the street from North Straub Park, the Vinoy Marina, and the sparkling waters of Tampa Bay.

Please note, online reservations are available for Birch and Vine, we do not accept online reservations for the Canopy, reservations for The Canopy may be available through the restaurant directly.

What an amazing experience! Ari set the stage for a wonderful evening from when I first walked up to the host stand. I realized I booked an indoor table and it was so beautiful out, she accommodated my girlfriend and I to a top level terrace corner table! Danielle continued the ambiance of exceptional service throughout our meal! Thanks ladies, we had a blast!

Our whole evening was exceptional! From the hostess to picking up from valet, and everything in between! I've never had a lobster ravioli stuffed so full! And the heart dessert was incredible!

We went on Valentine's Day so it was a little busy and noisy but still very pleasant and relaxing with nice lighting. Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. The crab cake and Caesar salad appetizers were fresh with great flavor and presentation. The salmon entree served on mashed potatoes -- looked very plain on a large plate with no garnish or vegetable. The deboned half chicken had very good flavor and moistness, but the sauce had overcooked cherry tomatoes and was served over risotto that was lost under the chicken. Overall we enjoyed the ambience and food and would return.

I was expecting something more upscale then what we received. It was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a someone and I won’t be returning.

We have dined there in the past but last night was extremely disappointing and we won’t likely return. Our server made every effort to give good service but the dishes smelled unclean and she had to bring new ones. The steaks tasted off. There was some fragrance that would release every little bit that was unpleasant. They had just adopted the built in 20% service charge and from last night things have only gone downhill. Not good
