In a classic French bistro, wine is very much a part of every meal. As such, we offer a variety of experiences and wines at a tremendous value in a range of prices. Our elegant yet relaxed environment overlooks Boston's beautiful Public Garden with a spectacular view. Happy Valentine's Day! In celebration of romance and the special occasion, Bistro du Midi will be offering a five-course prix fixe dinner menu at $195 per person. Champagne features & wine pairings will also be available. Reservations will be accommodated in both our downstairs Bistro and our upstairs main dining room. Our two bars will be available on a walk-in basis offering a special a la carte dinner menu. Please note that our regular dinner and tasting menus will not be available this evening. We look forward to celebrating with you!

I really expected the food to be great, based on the reviews. It was a lovely atmosphere and view of the public gardens. The service was good and everyone was attentive, but you dine out for the food and everyone in my party felt underwhelmed. I wouldn’t go back.

We both had the Steak Frite which has been very good on previous visits. This time the steak was tough and hard to cut. The french fries are the best part of the meal. The service was very good.

We had the tasting menu and it was wonderful, all the courses were fantastic. The standout of the night was the wine pairing that we did with the tasting, the sommelier did an amazing job.

Bistro du Midi is my new favorite French restaurant. The downstairs felt like a nice cocktail bar, while the upstairs felt like an intimate slice of Paris. The food was incredible! It is on the menu, I highly recommend the beet gnocchi as an appetizer. My girlfriend and I had the duck breast, ora king salmon, with a side of cauliflower. Each bite left us feeling satisfied with the craving to have more . Well worth it for the experience, and the service was exceptional. I cannot wait until we eat here again!

Nice place, food was appropriate, service was poor at best, staff seemed stressed and poorly trained. This was across the board from our server to bus staff as we as the management

Superlative and extraordinary experience as always. Perennial favorite best foie gras anywhere in the world joined by delightful new experiences such as First Course lobster cappuccino. This is the Never Disappoint restaurant for special occasions.
