    So wonderful to go to a traditional authentic French bistro. Bistro Vendome is just that. Wonderful food and friendly knowledgeable service staff. It will be on our rotation of restaurants in Manhattan

    Bistro Vendome was a wonderful! I've walked passed it before but didn't know the surprises hidden behind its small entryway. Located in a townhouse, there are several levels. Each one being cozy and inviting. Because of the different levels in smaller spaces, it makes it easy to talk to your guests with out loud conversations around you. The food was absolutely delicious; my party of four each had different appetizers, entrees and desserts. No disappointments, and the aroma of the food throughout the restaurant leave you thinking I'll order that dish the next time. The staff is impeccable! Truly attending to your every need. Before you even think I need more....whatever, there they are at your table. And, the prices in this French restaurant are very reasonable. Definitely going back and you should try it too, it will not disappoint!

    Fantastic local French restaurant tucked away in Sutton Place. We have eaten at BVD multiple times and cannot say a bad thing about it. Most recently, we had the pate, mixed salad, thai mussels, and beef Bourguignon (winter special). The beef was nicely braised and the carrots were cooked perfectly. The decadent mashed potatoes helped pick up the deliciously rich wine and beef reduction. We live in the neighborhood and love dining at BVD. It's quiet and skews to an older crowd, which is perfect for a casual meal or calm date night.

    The mussels in curry were delicious! My steak was chard to perfection so tender. The owner greeted every table as they were family something you don’t see any longer. I will be back again and again, Laurence.
