Dinner at Black Cat Farmstead is a unique dining experience. Enjoy private garden cabanas with wood stoves, gorgeous views and a 4-Course chef tasting menu (dietary restrictions accomodated) created by James Beard nominated chef Eric Skokan at our historic farmstead. Our 500-acre full-scale diversified organic farm supplies the majority of ingredients for your meal; from vegetables & herbs to the pork & lamb to the grains. The farmstead offers 7 intimate private tables per evening. Reservations are required and limited. $145/per person++

Reservations are released weekly on Mondays at noon for the following 3 weeks. We are generally open Wednesdays through Sundays only. Please email us at farmdinners@blackcatboulder.com for booking private events and assistance with reservations. We would love to hear from you about how we can make your evening with us extra special. We look forward to having you join us at the farm.

Wander through our working organic farm, or simply relax beneath our patio pergola. Dinner is served fireside in one of our seven private greenhouse cabanas each softly lit with oil lanterns. You will enjoy four courses, family-style, based on the day's bountiful harvest. Fresh salads and vegetables from the fields, warm sourdough bread from our stone mill and hearth, and heritage pork or lamb roasted over plum wood embers are some of the flavors that await. Wines from our award-winning list, as well as craft beer selections, are available by pre-order delivery. The farm hosts up to 8 people per table.

    this review is for the farm dinner setup. what a breath of fresh air in today's fading dining-out world. phenomenally vibrant, complex, flavors across the entire menu. fresh, harvested on-site, ingredients. committed/engaged chef. owner operated, with a loyal staff of support crew who are believers in the mission and hospitality. the build-out of the cabanas and common areas is gorgeous. wood-fired cast-iron stoves are an awesome touch.

    A magical place with delicious food and caring staff. The dining experience at Black Cat far exceeded our expectations. You can tell that the staff care and are proud about the food they are serving. Each dish was better than the last, something we didn’t think possible. You will not be left hungry!

    What an extraordinary experience! The individual greenhouse huts with wood stoves set the ambiance to magical. Staff was superb and and the food was really exceptional. Our guests remarked that this was the BEST dinner they've ever had! While not cheap, the evening was well worth it. Treat yourselves, folks. A bonus was NO noise except ourselves- when does that ever happen?

    Such an incredible experience from the entrance to the farm to the last plate. The service is amazing, the private cabins are so cozy and warm, and the food was so so delicious. You can tell each plate is so fresh and made with love, and the portion sizes are huge (you will not leave hungry!).

    The most incredible experience! I’ve been super eager to attend a Black Cat farm dinner for ages, and when I saw they were back, I couldn’t wait to book a spot. I decided to surprise my husband, who had no idea these dinners even existed—and he was absolutely blown away. From the breathtaking setting to the impeccable food, everything exceeded our expectations. He kept marveling at the beauty of the glass cabanas, the unforgettable atmosphere, and the phenomenal dishes that just kept coming. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate for a second—it’s worth every penny. This is so much more than a meal; it’s an experience to savor and remember. We’re already planning to return in the spring, and I can’t wait!

    We loved the culinary creativity of every dish! The individual glass dining rooms with wood-burning stove created a warm hearth-side ambience. What a great place to share time with friends and family. Highly recommend!

    Wow! This was amazing! The beef loin slow cooked over plum wood was like nothing I'd had before. This is definitely dinning for the adventurous!
