Located on the north side of Main Street Breckenridge, the Blue River Bistro provides a casually sophisticated dining atmosphere with a little city in the mountains. Chef Dante's local ingredients, talented culinary team and unorthodox approach to cooking combine to create a truly memorable experience for you and your guests.     This is our most favorite place in Breckenridge for Happy hour (4-5 pm martinis) and definitely their amazing menu. This visit we had the pork chop (drool) and the fluffiest, most pillow like Sea Bass. If the meat entrees weren’t good enough the plating of flavors is outstanding. Squash, maple bourbon mushroom risotto & pancetta-tomato chutney on the chop. Acorn squash puree, fingerling potato, broccolini, pomegranate-tomato chutney on the Sea Bass. It was really another amazing meal. Ps the home made House Focaccia with fresno chile chimicurri is also binge worthy!

    We have been dining at Blue River Bistro for years but are increasingly becoming frustrated with the bigger parties that the restaurant accommodates and the increased noise level that it causes. Last night was no exception, as there were at least five parties with six or more diners (one with 8+ and another that was simply loud and obnoxious and treated the restaurant like their own personal dive bar). While I recognize the restaurant has no control over the behavior of their diners, for the smaller parties that are dining at the restaurant, it makes for a much less enjoyable experience to constantly be “battling it out” with large, loud groups. Perhaps BRB needs to start taking less large groups and accommodating more small tables (2-4 people) so we can all have a more enjoyable evening out. That being said, as always, the service was great (thank you Kris!) and the food was A-1 as always. It’s what keeps us coming back.

    Service, food, atmosphere, were all outstanding. There was a jazz duo which made a splendid evening absolutely perfect!
