In Brazil, “Boteco” is the friendly neighbourhood bar with lively music and atmosphere...and that’s exactly where our inspiration comes from, the traditional botecos of Rio de Janeiro. You can enjoy a refreshing Caipirinha – our signature drink and an essential part of any Brazilian celebration – or sample the infamous 'urban' menu of the streets from our delicious tapas menu. When you visit Boteco, you are immediately reminded of the things that make Brazil so attractive: we’re colourful, vibrant, fresh and exotic! Scotland may be far away from Copacabana beach, but at Boteco you can get a taste of Brazil even on the rainy days! We're open 7 nights a week, till 3AM. The food and atmosphere was very good, but the service was very poor - the waiter got our order wrong for both food and drinks, then when our starters were cleared we waited twenty minutes before I had to remind a server we were still waiting on mains, at which point she told the kitchen. We were not offered desserts (though we eventually decided against ordering anyway) though the bill was delivered promptly when we asked.

We have been there to celebrate my birthday and enjoy the Greek night. I had a cheeseburger that was quite good but the chips was fried in oil which probably not used only for fries or was quite overused. I loved the cake fireworks. Thank you

The food was great, nice ambience. The staff wasn't Brazilian people but the guys in the kitchen were. I recommend trying the Coxinha and the Bolinho De Bacalhau.

We decided to order tapas. Food was dry (no sauces), bland taste. We would have been better off buying a frozen selection from Farmfoods and badly heating it up ourselves. Really disappointing as we wanted to try something different. We ordered 6 tapas and our table for 2 was too small for putting the dishes on. We did complain to the manager and were offered complimentary desserts but we wanted to leave as soon as possible and put it down to a bad experience.
