    I've dined at Buddakan on multiple occasions. The food is always good along with the friendly service; however, 1 dislike how the restaurant handled a particular situation. There were guests who disrupted the dim-light ambience with this huge flash light-object that was used to take pictures for long durations of time. Not only did this flash ruin the vibe, it also caused me to have a slight headache due to light sensitivity. The very bright light being in close proximity just ruined our experience amidst my sister's BDay dinner. It was practically a photo shoot, which was inappropriate to the point that other neighboring guests were also complaining. The restaurant staff mentioned that the flash light crew was addressed. After the warning, they did not care to turn off the light 'nor were they escorted out due to their disruption. Allowing an unpleasant experience to occur for multiple guests, just for two guests to have a bright-light photo shoot is absurd. I'm starting to think the restaurant lost its elegance. Wow!!

    Loved the food as usual. Service was slow this time which is extremely atypical. The drinks were wonderful, i love lychee martinis. The waitress was very attentive. Always recommend as a must go while in Philadelphia or NYC.
