Bully's East is conveniently located in the heart of Mission Valley. As you enter, you feel the warmth of the rich mahogany bar. Locals have been gathering here for four decades to enjoy their favorite beverages and great bar food. It's also the perfect place to view a sporting event. Since its establishment, Bully's East has served more prime rib than any other San Diego restaurant, preparing only USDA Choice, Midwestern, corn-fed, aged beef. I came in with my 7 year old son for a New Years Eve 'date'. I live right up the hill and love coming to Bully's but last night was special. It was our first New Years just us I wish I remembered my servers name, she was very sweet and polite to both of us. The food and drinks are always amazing:) The hostesses were sweet, the atmosphere was perfect, everything was spot on. I worked in the Industry for 20 years and working a Holiday can be a lot on the staff -I hope they know we appreciate them being there for special memories for my family, like last night

We chose this place because Opentable said they offered 2 lobster tails for $41. Uhhh, noo. So processing the bait and switch kind of took the fun out of the evening. Opentable and Bullys need to do a better job on making sure an accurate menu is offered on Opentable's platform.

Bully’s was outstanding. The food was great and filling. Our Server Teresa was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food. We would highly recommend Bullys !

We loved everything except the people sitting next to us! They were so loud and obnoxious, we couldn’t have a conversation with the people at our table. The folks on the other side of them had the same complaint. Everyone told the server, but nothing changed. Everyone felt that the manager should have dealt with the issue.

The osso bucco was the worse I have ever had. It was cold inside. Two of us had it and told the waitress. It definitely was was frozen and reheated. Not worth $38, worse meal in 40 + year that we have been coming to Bully’s. Thankfully our out of town guest had the prime rib and enjoyed it. I was embarrassed since out of town guess paid the tab. Didn’t taste the eggnog in the expresso martini. Maybe new management?
