Butera's Restaurant of Sayville is a full service, fine dining "Family-Style" Italian restaurant serving seafood, steaks, veal, chicken and pastas dishes. "Family-style" dining affords groups the opportunity to sample many dishes at one time. We also serve individual portions upon request. We have a full bar and extensive wine list as well as an assortment of homemade desserts. There is sidewalk seating in beautiful downtown Sayville when the weather permits. Our lounge dining room provides private dining for groups of 25 - 40. We also cater larger parties in our other two dining rooms. Off-premise catering is a specialty of Butera's. Please join us for lunch. We have Italian dishes, focaccia sandwiches, burgers and wraps with an Italian slant. as well as wonderful composed salads. Lunch is done individually.

Butera's offers catering for all occasions. We cater traditionally, with each guest enjoying different courses with a choice of entree and an occasion cake prepared especially for your function. We can also cater from our "Family-style" menu; in which your guests will enjoy a variety of dishes based on your selections. We can also prepare a buffet. Off-premise catering is also available. We can prepare trays of food for your off-premise function and if need be also provide servers to help everything go well.

Good food. Service was great. It was Valentine’s Day so it was busy. Better for a large group cause it’s family style. They do offer half sizes but charge 60% of the price for 50% of the food. Nice nite out.

Very poor service. Never received bread despite asking for it. Server hardly checked in during the meal. Took almost an hour to get the appetizer then entree came 6 minutes later. Poor spacing of food. Food was very good though. Manager was apologetic on the way out the door and offered a gift card for future use which was appreciated but the experience was already negative.

Jamie was an awesome server. The mushroom & asparagus salad was delicious. Main dishes were also superb. Almond Amaretto cake was amazing end. And there was a jazz band which was a nice touch!

Absolutely incredible experience! A group of us high school friends (a few years older now!) got together for a long-awaited luncheon, and Butera’s of Sayville couldn't have been more perfect. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff deserves a standing ovation for their kindness and patience as we took over a table for three hours catching up and reminiscing. They never rushed us and made us feel so welcome the entire time. Highly recommend this gem for amazing food and stellar hospitality. Thank you for making our gathering so special! Five stars all the way

I have been a fan for years and last week's visit was no different. Great Food, amazing server and reasonably priced for the amazing food value. Seafood Salad and pasta with steak just amazing. I shall return as usual. John

Top notch place. Paul, the Manager, has Butera's of Sayviile running super smoothly. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The Thai Calamari, the Shrimp Butera, the Chicken Marsala, the Chicken with roasted peppers and spinach, the almond cake with ice cream, etc are delicious.

My table was not ready. We were seated 30 minutes after the reservation time. The service was terrible. The food was fair at best.
