As of 2020 we have merged our two restaurants Café Bastille and B44 and are serving both menus off of our 44 Belden Lane location.
We are now open for indoor and outdoor dining at full capacity.
Our outdoor patio is covered and heated but if you choose to dine outdoors make sure to bring warm clothes since SF weather can be unpredictable.
We can accommodate large groups for any type of event, call us to inquire.
Reservations are made via Open Table or over the phone and walk-ins are also welcome.
When you make a reservation you will be given the choice to reserve a table outdoors or standard which means indoors.
We will continue to offer takeout and delivery via DoorDash, UberEats or Grubhub or by calling us directly.

Over the past 4 years, the food at Cafe Bastille has been hit or miss. Tonight it was a definite hit. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. And, as always, the staff was great. It's a fun place to dine, lunch or dinner--a little gem tucked away in the heart of San Francisco. They're closing for good on 10/26 and will be sorely missed.

Onion soup was almost cold, the Beef Bourguignon was a little too salty for my taste. Service was good!

We have been fans of Café Bastille and B44 for a long time-- we are so sad they are closing soon. This has always been a great place to go with guests or to celebrate an occasion! They have wonderful staff and great service. It was great to go there today and enjoy a delicious lunch and dessert on the patio.

So sorry to hear this place is closing in a few weeks. The food is great. The location is fun and charming and I will definitely miss it.

The restaurant was obviously understaffed, and while we had sympathy for our overworked waiter, we were forced to conclude that at least two people had called out sick based on how stressed out our waiter was (in unguarded moments) and how long we had to wait. The salmon with ratatouille was very good, but the beef bourguignon was bland and dry and leaned way too heavily on the sauce.

Great paella! And the variety of authentic tapas is terrific. Everything was delicious. Service was perfect. Hope this place does not close!!
