Specializing in modern American cuisine, fresh seafood, and USDA prime steaks, Cafe Navarre is celebrating its 12th year in historic downtown South Bend. Located in a bank building in the heart of our city with the fusion of Old World architecture, natural light, and the contemporary furnishings.     Our server Autumn was great. She immediately asked if we were going to the show before we ordered so she could ensure we made it on time. She did a great job!

    Stopped with my family for a meal on a trip from Chicago to Cleveland. Attentive, efficient and friendly service from Autumn and the rest of the staff. Salmon was excellent, well prepared with thoughtful flavorings. Short rib had a little too much fat but otherwise wonderful. We will always come back when we are passing through South Bend.

    Excellent place to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Autumn, our server, was very attentive. Our drinks were great. We both had the filets for dinner and they were cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere. We would definitely recommend!

    My birthday dinner was an exquisite dining experience. From start to finish it was wonderful in every way. Superb cocktails. Excellent by the glass cava and seamless service. Food outstanding - presented beautifully and cooked perfectly. Salmon and crab risotto were perfect and would have again. Impressed by the carrots being cooked to perfection as was the salmon. Wine list is lengthy and we chose a unicorn French white for a splurge. 30 year old tawny port closed an amazing dinner. Nice touch - birthday card signed by staff. Cannot compilment our waiter enough. Smart friendly engaging and knowledgeable. Both front and back of house were fully in their game. This restaurant compares well with European restaurants. Highly recommended.

    What a wonderful experience. My wife had been wanting to dine there for years but we had never gotten around to it. We went there for a special occasion. The private table allowed us to have a conversation without having to yell. Multiple wait staff made sure that our glasses and silverware were always taken care of. The presentation of the food was unique. The dessert options were very different and fun. I enjoyed the attention to detail. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

    Great anniversary dinner! We had a special quiet table along with a card signed by all the staff. Autumn was a great server and Gabby the Manager checked in on us as well. This is our go to restaurant in South Bend for special events. Thank you!
