There is no doubt Cafe Novo is the crown jewel of Providence resturants. Dinning there never disappoints and in fact shines as bright on the 50th visit as the 1st. Exceptional quality food, service and atmosphere. 5 Stars still shine at Cafe Nuovo!

Lamb shank and filet mignon were excellent. Escargots with brie cheese was an excellent starter Staff was attentive but main entree was a bit delayed. Not sure why but restaurant was busy. Window seat facing the river was fantastic especially since I was having a romantic dinner with my wife. Will definitely come back

Came to celebrate a 40th birthday with a medium sided group! Amazing service & food. We highly recommend. Everything was delicious - drinks refilled without asking & food was amazing!!!

Dining at Cafe Nuovo in Providence was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled along the scenic Riverwalk, this upscale yet inviting restaurant offers both a stunning ambiance and a menu that showcases culinary artistry at its finest. To start, the service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive, with knowledgeable staff who guided us through the menu with enthusiasm. Ask for Tyrol - he is amazing. The meal itself was nothing short of spectacular. The beef tenderloin risotto was an absolute standout—perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth beef paired with creamy, flavorful mushroom risotto that had just the right balance of richness and depth. Every bite was a delight. Equally impressive was the Dover sole, expertly prepared and served tableside with precision. The fish was delicate, buttery, and fresh, complemented by a light yet flavorful sauce that elevated the dish without overpowering its natural taste. Pairing our meal with a selection from their extensive wine (we had the Lewis Cab) list only enhanced the experience, and the evening was capped off with a beautifully presented dessert that was as delicious as it was artistic . For anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Providence, Cafe Nuovo is a must-visit. Whether it’s for a special occasion or simply to indulge in world-class cuisine, this restaurant truly delivers.
