   Very lovely experience dining here and introducing friends to Carbonara Trattoria. I lived in Jersey in the 80’s and the food and experience pleasantly reminds me of Northern Italian dining. Three of us had chicken piccata and one had a trout dish. Looking forward to next time.

   The restaurant had a nice warm Italian feel to it. Our waiter was professional and attentive. I ordered the veal parmigiana and didn’t care for it. It looked like it may have been sitting under the heat lamp for a while before it was brought out. It also was heavily salted and the spaghetti that it was served with was overcooked and just a soft sticky mess. The portion size was fine but it just wasn’t very good.

   Delicious!!! And impeccable service! Everyone at our table ordered something different, and all were very happy!

   Outstanding as always!!! This hidden gem is the best Italian around!! Can't say enough about the owners, staff, the foood! the service, the cocktails, the wine selection is excellent!, super cozy feels like home atmosphere! Great cozy patio!

   We had a 6 PM reservation. We were told that there was a table available in the enclosed patio. The OpenTable reservation showed a request for normal seating. They were very few people in the restaurant at the time and zero people on the patio. The two young women at the reservation counter, said that there was nothing they could do other than offer us a table in the bar area, which is right when you walk into the door of the restaurant. This was the second time in a row that we had difficulty being seated at this restaurant. I asked to speak to a manager and a young man came over who didn’t even look at me or my wife and discussed the situation with the two young women at the counter. He walked away as I said, thank you and again he didn’t even look up. One of the young women said we can see you now and we sat at a table for two. After an average dinner, we left in about 35 minutes and the dining room was nowhere near full.

    Mussels, fried green tomatoes, veal marsala were very good. Atmosphere could be better - need to do something to break up the large room to make it more cosy and intimate
