Rafik Cressaty and his son, Patrick would like to welcome you to their family restaurant, Carbonara Trattoria, located in the heart of Dunwoody, Georgia. Carbonara is an inviting Italian restaurant with an ambiance reminiscent of Italy without sacrificing the southern charm of Atlanta. Warm earth tones, textured wall finishes and soft lighting are complemented by a menu featuring the finest fresh produce and ingredients. From antipasto and salads to fresh pastas and raviolis, quality meats and fresh seafood dishes, our Menu is inspired by the timeless recipes of the old north country. The father and son duo take you on a wonderful dining journey from the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave.

Reservations are not required but recommended. We offer a 15 minute grace period for reservations, if more time is needed please call.

They have a problem with over booking. We had a 6:30 reservation and didn't get seated until almost 7pm. Then we had to agree to sit outside instead of in the main dining room. However, the wait staff and food were very good.

Despite having a reservation booked for over à week and arriving on time, we had to wait 30 minutes before being seated at a table. Upon arrival, the hostesses said the table was being cleared but when we followed up after 10 minutes, they then said they were waiting for a table of guests to leave. Seems like they accidentally seated a table before us.

Food was great as always, but they seem to be very disorganized and overbooking lately. This is the 2nd time we had reservation and had to wait over 30m for a table. Even though they had multiple people waiting for a table, they were still accepting reservation for that time slot in Open table.

Main course meals and service were excellent. Only negative was the chocolate cake for dessert - which was not at all fresh and tasted like it had been previously frozen.

Fabulous food! Calamari and Bruschetta are amazing. Caesar salad, a wow! Main entrees authentic Italian! Only complaint is i had to ask for 2 refills on my Diet Coke, as did my husband. It was like our waiter was annoyed, we even asked. We were never asked about dessert.

The service was fantastic and even tho it was kinda loud I still didn’t feel like I had to yell to talk. The food was wonderful and the over all experience was 5stars

Neighbors got together for a Holiday dinner. Jacob was a great server! As usual the drinks and food were all perfect. Love Carbonara!
