Dinner was so amazing except not one dessert S'mores chocolate cake is not right to taste.

Service was significantly slower than our usual experience. Order was off, drinks weren’t refreshed in a timely manner, and return check ins were too long. Maybe the staff count was unexpectedly low? Charbono’s is a nice local Avon restaurant.

The food is usually good there. Made a reservation for our anniversary, they put us in the middle of the restaurant, ultra bright lit and heavy foot traffic area. When we asked to move it was to opposite side next to the bar… which was super loud and just as brightly lit, not great for date nights or celebrating an anniversary. When we asked if this was all that’s available, the hostess said yup… when clearly a third of the restaurant was empty, complete empty sections, cozier booths but for four people not a measly two. Unsure why there was a lack of accommodation on a not so busy evening. We said thank you and left without eating… like I said, food is good, waiters are nice, hostesses lacking, and center seating for couples dining is humorously atrocious…

Celebrated my husband's birthday and had a birthday card from the staff waiting for him at the table. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Food tasted wonderful as usual. He was able to choose a birthday dessert to go, which was wonderful. We didn't remeber the prices being so high when we were there earlier in the year so there must have been an increase. Overall great experience.
