The food and drinks at Chauhan never disappoint! My husband and I shared the guppa shot app and a curry with garlic naan for dinner and enjoyed every bite. We have been to Chauhan countless times and will absolutely be back in the future. It was packed on a Friday night but our service was still excellent.

Much of a let down in terms of food, have never had that much oil in food in a while. Expected more from a Celebrity chef specially when you alter your itinerary to make sure to come here

I had the Braised Lamb Vindaloo and my girlfriend had the paneer however I don’t remember which curry she ordered but it was all extremely delicious and the flavors of the Vindaloo were Bold and Vibrant and the braised lamb inside the curry was the perfect texture for this specific dish, the paneer curry was a stark but wonderful contrast with much more calmed down and earthy tones. We paired both Dishes with a bottle of Pinot Noir and it was perfect. We also started with the whipped paneer that was accompanied with a sweet honey-based (I believe) sauce that, when combined with the mild flavor of the paneer, provided a wonderful taste and mouthfeel, especially when eaten with the plain naan we ordered, definitely will be coming back for that braised lamb shank. Our server was knowledgable about the menu as well as the background of the restaurant, it was nice eating at a place that cared about the food that was being put out rather than just the check, which is slowly becoming a rarity so close to downtown Nashville.
