25 years at this "bustling" Melville hub for both "business meetings" and " family celebrations," "gracious" hosts make folks "feel welcome" as they dig into "large portions" of "delicious" Continental and Northern Italian Favorites. The first to turn a veal chop into veal parmigiana and the first to offer sushi at an Italian Bistro "crudo" Italian Sashimi. Our Sushi Chef ranked 3rd best sushi on Long Island. The Cirella family owns and operates restaurants in some very unique locations. While shopping, don't forget to look for our sister location Gastronemy located inside Saks 5th Ave in the Walt Whitman mall. We have dined here many times. The food was always very good in the past. Unfortunately, it was awful this New Year's Eve. As an appetizer, the broccoli rabe with sauté 'calamari was simply boiled calamari over broccoli rabe hint of gorgonzola, no sauce at all. The linguini with white clam sauce, which i have often ordered here, had zero flavor, lots of pasta, few clams, little sauce. The salmon was served over a large amount of arugula, not chopped as requested and no flavor. One guest did order the seafood salad and said it was good. the veal piccata was fair. Again, these dishes we have had here before and were previously delicious, not this time. The server said that the kitchen was overwhelmed. That was obvious. Suggestion is to either not open on New Year's Eve or cut back the number of guests you book for the evening. I had received 3 reminders of the reservation, as well as a phone call to be sure that I was keeping the reservation with a statement that We could stay for only 1 and 1/2 hrs. I wish that I had canceled it entirely.

The food was excellent. Service top notch. Busy restaurant but didn’t feel rushed or neglected. Definitely returning soon!

The foods were awesome. We all had different pastas and Sushi rolls. The service was great and the Cirellas specialty cocktails were awesome..

Weekday, late lunch with a friend and a quiet table. Thanks to Danny for the great service. Rigatoni with sausage, rabe and hot cherry peppers was delicious and a nice portion so will enjoy lunch again tomorrow.
