City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill offers a varied menu including delicious hearth baked pizza, dry aged steaks, housemade fresh pasta and seafood. Some of our more popular dishes are Gulf Shrimp & Sea Scallops, Prime Flat Iron, and our signature housemade pasta dishes. The menu also features a daily selection of hard to find artisanal cheeses & charcuterie. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all delicious. Our live jazz brunch is the best on the island. The restaurant features a huge award winning wine collection that can be sampled by the bottle, glass or "flight."     This used to be a favorite! Today was our swan song. Empty, overpriced, dropped the price fixe menu, & not great shakes on the food or drinks.

    Some places are dependable; they deliver a satisfying meal each time. This is one of the most dependable. It never disappoints. I’ll just give one note regarding the French onion soup. It’s delicious, but it comes with large chunks of exceedingly tender beef, making it more of a stew than a soup. So just a heads up if you were expecting lots of broth on a cold winter day.

    As always, our meal and the service were outstanding here. We started with a Greek salad and the hummus appetizers which were both delicious. Our entrees were equally as good. We had the branzino and maple glazed salmon. The only thing I would suggest is that more sweet potato purée would be added to the salmon dish. Looking forward to our next meal here!!!

    The food was great, but the service was disappointing. There was a debacle with another customer, and management did nothing to improve our experience. Instead, employees and managers were loudly cursing and complaining about other guests rather than focusing on us. It made for an unprofessional and uncomfortable dining experience.
