In a casual yet elegant atmosphere, set in a recently remodelled century old historic train station, Claire's passion is great food and outstanding service. Offering contemporary American cuisine - local, seasonally focused - with a Southern flaire. The renovation honors the historic character of the Warrenton Train Depot, resulting in a warm, comfortable environment for casual meetings with friends, or special occasions and intimate family meals. The warm, elegant Garden Room provides seating for intimate meals, while the Tavern Room features a more casual dining experience in luxurious surroundings. A rotating selection of craft beers is available on tap, and the wine service is regularly expanded. Outdoor dining is available in season, and private events can be hosted in one of several areas in the restaurant. Awarded "Best of Warrenton" every year since 2006.

My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary at Claire's last night. Everything was wonderful. From our reception to the restaurant and waitstaff at our table we were wished a happy anniversary. Our server, Laurie, was attentive assisting us with making selections from the menu. A glass of champagne was given to us to make our celebration complete. It was a lovely evening. Claire's is a wonderful restaurant and does not disappoint. Thank you!

We had lunch with a friend and it was wonderful. Their service was great, as was the food and drink. This is a cozy, beautiful restaurant and reasonable prices for a fantastic meal. We will be returning.

You start with the ambience of entering a renovated 1852 train station in old town Warrenton. In the summer they have a large patio for outdoor dinning. The food was outstanding today, as usual. We started with their famous She-Crab Soup and the Yellowfin Ahi Tuna Wontons that will never disappoint anyone. It was lunch, so we all had the Angus Burger seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium with white cheddar and applewood bacon. I added their bacon jam. Then for desert we had the Creme Brulee and Apple Crisp that were a perfect ending. Our waitress Brenda V. was outstanding with a great attitude. We could not have asked for a better brithday lunch for my wife.

Lovely meal, I had the cornmeal fried oysters for an appetizer, while my husband had the crab soup. For the entree, we both had the special, which was flounder and lump crab with Hollandaise. And for dessert, I had the Adieu Ice wine and Crème Brûlée, and my husband had the Apple Crisp. Everything we had was superb! Service was very good, too. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!

This is a charming converted railroad depot restaurant with amazing quiche and interesting food. We had country ham and cheese quiche, which was fluffy and delicious with a flaky crust, Jack Daniels shrimp which were perfectly cooked, and their hamburger, which was a little overdone for us.
