The food is always well prepared and service is excellent. Lucia who runs it really understand the restaurant business because it runs smoothly and while all businesses have hiccups from time to time, they do a great job of compensating.

                                                                                                                              We have been to Corfinio’s many times and aside from the extremely high noise level - which we accept because the food is generally good - we are usually very satisfied with everything. However, this time we were disappointed. First, the positive - because of their 90 minute time limit, we were seated exactly at our reservation time; the time limit really didn’t come into play because we had a later reservation and no one was waiting for our table; my husband’s entree (Nocina) was delicious; the meatball appetizer and shared Caesar salad were excellent. Now the negative- the focaccia bread and condiments are no longer complimentary; we felt a little rushed as we were asked for our appetizer order as soon as our drinks were delivered; both the salads and meatballs were delivered at the same time and before we had even taken 3 sips of our drinks; our entrees took forever to arrive; my entree - risotto- was lukewarm at best; because the entrees were not delivered by our waitress and it seemed like she abandoned us, no one checked to see if we needed anything else - so no second glass of wine and no extra cheese for the Nocina. And I know this is picky but with no bread, all the sauce remained on the plate with no way to sop it up! So, will we go back? Probably. This was only one bad experience out of many good ones.

The mussels are to die for! The service is second to none. We love Tabitha the server and Stacey the bartender are always top notch. And we love being surrounded by the lovely ambiance that is Corfinio!
