During the fall off-season, the Cosmopolitan is open Wednesday - Sunday for indoor and outdoor dining plus takeout. Outdoor dining is weather permitting.

Happy Hour is Wednesday - Sunday 4-5pm in the bar area and lobby. The $19 steak entrée is available all evening at the bar.

The restaurant also offers private dining in the wine cellar for special events.

Chad Scothorn, Owner and Executive Chef, has received national attention and praise for his original cuisine. Truly authentic, all menu items are made entirely from scratch, including the house baked bread, sauces, desserts, and even the ice creams. Cosmopolitan offers an extensive wine list with local, domestic and international wines, and delicious craft cocktails.

Good food and perfect location in town close to gondola. Pro tip is to do the happy hour in the bar. Amazing prices for telluride and good energy.

My wife and I caught this place in the fall off-season. Ambiance was nice for a ski town. Food was average for a restaurant on this scale. Wine was ridiculously over priced even by restaurant standards (125-140% of std high end restaurant prices). Service was very snooty, as if we should be happy we got in even after making a reservation weeks in advance and no one was even in the place. We travel and eat out at a lot of very nice places. Won’t be going back to this one.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband's birthday. I love that the "kid" menu is a young adult menu and has wonderful options. Kids deserve good food as well, and Cosmo delivered! As a local it is hard to dine out with prices, so this is the only area I would love to change, but this is the case in ALL of Telluride.

The appetizers Lobster Corn Dogs and the Scallops with beef short rib meat are a must try! The atmosphere was very nice. The service was excellent, and the dessert blueberry pie was a wonderful surprise.

We had a nice larger table by the window and Rob was our server. We were able to enjoy our cocktails and Rob checked on us periodically…very relaxing. We ordered the Salmon and Sablefish entrees and both were excellent! Nice sized portions , enough where we were tempted to have dessert but passed!

We’ve eaten at Cosmo several times, and the food was delicious as always. Staff seemed stretched a bit thin, as the service was not as sharp as usual.
