                                                We were two, celebrating an anniversary on a Saturday night. It was crowded and choosing that night may have been a mistake. After a very tasty appetizer of mushrooms on toast, the mains arrived but my Chitarra was missing its sausage. It took long enough for the kitchen to rectify this that we ended up eating separately. This was not what we had in mind. Two other items did not live up to expectations: the bread was pretty dry, as if it was cut two hours earlier, and the profiterole that Cucci provided as a complementary dessert was a little stale. Our waitress did not charge for the coffee and brought a little extra wine, but that did not really make up for the kitchen's goof. Overall, a good meal but not great and not worth the money.

                                                The instructions laid out in OpenTable to personalize an experience (was the birthday of one of us) and further confirmed with the restaurant through a phone call was not followed. Had requested to put a small personal note of ' Dear ___, Happy __ Birthday....."When I reminded them about it, the Manager came to talk with me and said that they don't do any personalization. When I said that I had spoken to his staff, he appeared to shirk responsibility saying he was not sure I had spoken to. The intention of going to this restaurant was to have good experience considering we were celebrating someone's 50th. It seemed to us (from our experience) that there was some miscommunication at the restaurant's end and there was no acknowledgement of that. This was not in the best taste experience-wise for all of us. To give credit where credit is due, the main server of our section (Megan I believe her name was) was very courteous and served us well. We were happy with that. Food was good as well. It was a mixed-bag of experience, but net-net the purpose we had gone there for did not turn out to be the way we would have liked to. I wish the person I spoke to on the phone was clear on the fact that they were not in a position to go forward with the instructions we had put in the Open Table app. If that was the case, we probably would have gone to an alternate place.
