CUCINA enoteca is located on the west side of Fashion Island, Orange County's most sophisticated retail experience. Owner Tracy Borkum's flair for combining great ambience, award-winning cuisine and unparalleled service are once again starring components in this latest Urban Kitchen Group creation. Executive Chef Tim Kolanko and Chef de Cuisine Cesar Sarmiento bring their artistry to the table as guests enjoy an open kitchen. The menu features Italian classics with a modern twist, made with the freshest local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Along with a diverse selection of wines by the glass, guests may visit the restaurant's retail area to select from over 200 bottles for dinner (corkage fee of $10 applies) or purchase wine to go. The energetic space features contemporary elements and vintage artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen combined with the comfort of a rustic farmhouse.

    Cucina Enoteca never disappoints. We shared the Italian chopped salad, meat balls, a pizza and the half chicken. Everything was wonderful. The lavender lemonade is the perfect non-alcoholic drink.

    Forgot one of our entrees, then when it arrived after everyone finished their entree, the pasta was undercooked, not al dente undercooked.

    Wonderful restaurant, delicious food and our waiter Rudy was fantastic! The family style chopped salad and mushroom goat cheese pizza was delicious! And a yummy birthday dessert on the house. A lovely lunch and afternoon with friends.

    We had a wonderful meal with interesting preparation, generous portion sizes, and excellent flavor. We chose to sit outside, and it was a lovely breakfast experience.

    Food was superb. Service was incredibly slow took forever. Ordered gluten free pasta, brought it out and asked server again about it being gluten free and he said yes. Then manager comes running over after I ate some to apologize and say it was not gluten free. TG it was an order of choice. Had a server who they left alone her first day, and as much as she tried, things came out wrong, drinks were super slow, people at our table of 9 got missed for ordering. All in all the service/ slow kitchen , and order mishaps drags down our rating. Used to be a consistent go to, not so much going forward. Good business would have offered us some bill reduction, free desert, etc. You get it!
