Food could have been better , however the experience was Great

Wonderful place. Mad friendly and on point staff. From the Initial two Hostesses at the door to all of the staff working about the restaurant. The DJ was dope too!!! Also, the price was excellent for the food and service. WONDERFUL!!!

This was our 2nd time eating at Massawa and it did not fail us. Very tasty Ethiopian food. Friendly staff and a nice simple ambiance.

We live on the UWS and decided to check out this fairly new steakhouse for an early dinner on New Year's Day so it was fairly quiet. The decor is modern and comfortable. The service was attentive and helpful and the meal was outstanding! The onion soup and mac n cheese were top notch. The NY strip steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The fries were crisp and not over salted. The spinach was cooked just the right amount. Desserts of chocolate lava cake and creme brûlée were superb. We will definitely be back to taste several other items on the menu. Definitely worth the expense. Cheers!
