Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old-school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere. On Fridays there will be a £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley. Great place for a good steak. It doesn’t come cheap but you are promised good value for the money. I had a medium rare ribeye which was succulent and incredibly delicious. Service was faultless. Energetic vibe and a tad noisy but everyone was having a good time. It’s Christmas ! I’m told the beef wellington comes highly recommended! I am definitely coming back.

Lovely restaurant with fabulous views. Waiter was super-helpful with my gluten intolerance choices and I am always so relived to see my plates coming out with a sticker so I know that they have been checked for gluten. I have been in here before when a DJ and saxophonist have been playing which is unbearable for a restaurant experience but thankfully the music level was much better tonight.
