Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old-school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere. On Fridays there will be a £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley. As I had worked in the building when it was a bank, 25 years ago, I was keen to return and visit for dinner. We went to the Lutyens Grill, which is a smart restaurant that was formerly the Branch Manager's office. It was noticeabley less noisy than the open areas, which was good. The service was professional but friendly. All our courses were very good. We loved the mushroom tart and prawn cocktail. The steaks were amazing. The cocktail and mocktail that we had were interesting and delicious. It was an expensive evening but well worth it for a special treat.

The bar and restaurant is very nice but the staff need to be more patient with the customers, because they don’t wait for the customers choose and they don’t help much..
