Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old-school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere. On Fridays there will be a £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.Our award-winning smoker has been imported from the USA and is built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 16 hours.

Fantastic night out. It was a birthday celebration and we were treated fabulously by the staff. Could not have asked for more. Music was great, room to dance. We would definitely come back next time we are in London.

A decent meal, tasty and reasonable prices. The portion sizes are adequate, but don’t expect to be stuffed full! With ordering on table tablets, there’s no service to speak of.
