The Windham Restaurant is proud to occupy one of Windham’s most significant historical sites. First operated as a farm in 1729, the present Colonial style house was built in 1812 and was extensively restored at the turn of this century. The Windham Restaurant features elements that are rustic, romantic and relaxed, including working fireplaces in our bar and first floor dining area. The decor complements the historic character of the building with a few carefully selected modern elements to create a distinctive dining experience. The atmosphere at The Windham Restaurant is as inviting as the seasonally inspired menus.     We were greeted immediately when we arrived. The hostess was very friendly and engaging. The table set up is very comfortable with the "couch like" chairs. Our waitress came over immediately to take our drink order. After we received the drinks, we requested time to relax and have conversation with our friends. She paced the entire evening perfect. The entire staff worked together to serve our courses. They worked very well as a team. The meals were great. There is always some "anxiety" when trying a new restaurant but Millers Tavern did not disappoint. The entire evening was great !

    Return business for us. Food Great. Service great. Server was very friendly. Reservations always a plus. Very lively. A little loud for us. We are a bit older but we understand. :-) Parking was a bit tough for a busy night.
