Populairste Aziatische restaurants in Dunedin

I recently dined at Sunda New Asian, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, and the drink selection was equally impressive. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. That said, the pricing felt a bit steep, even for the quality offered. The Crazy Rice dish costs $29. While I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I believe the cost could be slightly more reasonable to make it a place I’d visit more frequently.

This place was not what we expected. The food was phenomenal, but the staff were special. Our server and the hostess checked in with us at several points and made sure we had what we needed, recommendations were on point and dessert was amazing.

Very friendly hostess, Daniella, greeted us and took us to the perfect table where we were waited on by equally friendly waiter Kaia. Kaia steered us into making the absolute best selection for our meal. The potstickers were amazing, but the star of the meal was the beef and broccoli. Everything was delicious, including our martinis that were made by Alyssa at the bar prior. Highly recommend.

Food was absolutely delicious- beware- most items in happy hour menu have spicy sauce on them even though they were basic items. We had to send several items back as my children won’t eat spicy. The sushi was so fresh. A bit pricey for the small portions but still we enjoyed.

Our waiter Doug was great. Dinner was delicious but very expensive. The restaurant is very loud. We are looking for a good restaurant to have Chinese
