Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, the interior of Nomiya is split between a hickory-accented bar and windowed dining room framed by black granite walls. Food and service by Sophia was great. Drinks could have been better. I had a cosmo and it was okay, not bad but not great. For food we had shrimp dumplings which were tasty with the sauce. We had the scallops and crispy chicken both delicious.

Went there for lunch on Restaurant Week. All in my party picked sushi and enjoyed the rolls very much. Will definitely go back again and try the hot entrees.

The food was definitely tasty and large portions. Everything was hot and fresh, and the drinks were on point! I do think the ambiance and flashy style shown on social media is geared more towards the sushi items so i wish there was a bit more showmanship with the other meals. The servers weren’t very personable and rushed everything, with only a 2 minute gap between the appetizer and entree.. still great food!
