Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. This classic supper club boasts live performances every night, from Tuesday through Saturday. The ambiance of the place was gorgeous, waiters are very attentive and the jazz show was amazing. I suggest booking 30 mins before the show as the place does get very busy and if it is a date you might need the room to talk. As it is hard to hear one another with the loud music (which you might want to enjoy anyway). The food was ok definitely now overpriced but the options are limited. The drinks were great but I felt like the bottle was a better bang for the buck if you’re a wine drinker. Would definitely come again for drinks and the show.

This is the place I always suggest to friends when downtown. The service, food, drinks & atmosphere are always beyond exceptional. A huge thanks to the staff for always bringing their A game and making each visit feel so special.

First time at the Berczy and we will be going back. Beautiful space and atmosphere. The live piano is a plus and reminds me of one of our favourite bistros in NY. We had a brunch menu and it was delicious. Our server Nikita was great snd we had a nice chat with Luca. All in all a great time and a nice gem in the neighborhood. Thank you !!
