Named after probably Broadstairs's most famous previous resident, The Charles Dickens pub and dining rooms in Broadstairs had a complete refurbishment and re opened in the summer of 2012. This is one of the largest pubs in Broadstairs, with the main bar downstairs and the dining room and bars upstairs commanding excellent views of Viking Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. It was so good to find GF and vegan options. In fact they offer a varied menu and we all were spoilt for choice. Loved the Cauliflower popcorns

Lovely spot for Sunday lunch. It was busy, service was quick, staff were attentive. Quite a lot of noise due to chatter from other diners, this made the atmosphere lively. Lunch was huge, and very tasty. Plus you have a great view of Viking Bay.
