The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. First visit for us. Chic cosy with good ambiance at lunchtime Xmas Eve. Excellent cocktails will go back for that alone a lot of care. The menu was good but skewed to fish and game worth checking it out if this might not suit your guests. Food was good with thoughtful checks by staff. Good value for eating out of such a such a special day. Easy parking and nice garden for outside drinks.

Pleasant surroundings and ambience. Big group of sweary rugby types just inside the door slightly off putting but further in its a pleasant family pub. Decent selection and the roast beef was spot on and we didn’t have to wait too long. Less than £90 for family of four including tip, very good value these days.

Everything about the evening was utterly faultless and it’s not often I’d say that about somewhere. The setting, service, food, drink just everything was incredible and considering the extremely high quality of food and drink it was surprisingly really good value for money. Cannot recommend The Barn highly enough!!
