They specialized in shoplifting, with some blackmail and extortion thrown in to make them particularly badass.This gang was notable for its longevity and skill in avoiding police detection. Their most notorious leader, Diamond Annie, was known by the London police as "the cleverest of thieves".Forty Elephants funded a life of decadence in London roaring twenties, hanging about the glamorous hotels, bars and theaters they could only dream about before their turn to crime.Glamour was both a goal and a smoke screen for the Forty Elephants, through which they created their own thrilling world of fashion. money, and fame.

Loved the place! Beautiful and cosy ambience and very attentive and helpful staff. The hostess who greeted us at the bar entrance was very welcoming and our waitress Stefania was simply amazing! It was my friend's birthday and Stefania surprised her with yummy deserts. And was always there to assist with any request. Overall, we felt very welcome and well looked after. Live music was a wonderful bonus to our evening! Thank you all! We'll be back! 😀

This was such a nice experience finding this place. Very comfortable atmosphere with great food and the prices were great. We would return to London just to go back to this place again!
