When it comes to taste-buds tingling cuisines, Burma has a lot to offer. It has been a passionate dream for Burma-born owners Kalvin and Poe to open a Burmese restaurant to be able to share their culinary culture. That dream came true in 2019 when Top Burmese opened as a virtual takeout only restaurant from a commissary kitchen in NW Portland. As always the hummus is amazing and the warm pita bread is perfect served with it. The Fried Chicken is so delicious ! Radicchio is amazing. Burnt Basque Cheescake is the best.

Theres’s a surprising depth of Burmese food in NYC. After having it in abundance in San Francisco I was pleasantly surprised to find a high quality Burmese restaurant in a Portland suburb on a random trip so I booked a team dinner here. The food was better the second time and I plan on coming back any time I’m in the area.
