The Quality Chop House celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019.Our menus are seasonally-focused and change daily based around the best produce delivered each morning. The Albion is a Georgian gem left over from a time when Islington was fields and farmland, and where the regulars would take afternoon walks out of the city to visit us. We have a lovely garden which resembles places found in the South of France, with the wisteria blooming and the willow creating a nice and relaxed atmosphere. In the back of the garden there is an old barn which used to be a bar, and the rumour is that the Sex Pistols played their first concert in the barn. Inside, the log fires create a lovely atmosphere during the cold months, where you can wrap up and enjoy a drink or food both in our dining room and bar areas. We are frequented by regulars from our local area as well as their dogs. We happily provide both water and biscuits for visiting dogs and love to have them around.

    Couldn’t have wanted for more. Unfortunately I have found restaurants can sometimes be lacking in quality and originality these day not at the Dean Street Townhouse they’re not. Original menu and fabulous food. The drinks weren’t bad either. The restaurant is beautiful comfortable and the atmosphere is both buzzy and relaxed. People that work there to a man and a woman are friendly, efficiently and wear their sense of humour lightly. We had guests join us for coffee and the restaurant was very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.

    Lovely Sunday lunch. We had the pork, lamb and beef and all cooked to perfection. We were particularly impressed with the selection of vegetables and the superb cauliflower cheese. Will be returning.

    Tasty food, good prices, nice atmosphere. We went for a Sunday roast with my family and sat at the upper floor which was more quiet. The service was great and the food and wine was very nice.
