A secretive unmarked door in Drunch on Great Titchfield Street opens onto one of the Capital’s most enticing hidden spaces. Descending the stairs the basement opens out into one large cave with vaulted ceiling, a bar and DJ desk as well as two smaller caves tucked away under separate arches. Food was great, but the staff made the experience 1000% better. I interacted with multiple waiters and all of them were so kind and attentive. I went there for my birthday alone and they were so amazing. I had a birthday card waiting for me when I got there, got a complimentary drink and they put a candle on my dessert. I didn't feel lonely at my dinner and I was also sitting at the counter so it was interesting looking into the kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't been before.

The same friends and I came back to High Road Brasserie as it is really good. They were able to move our table away from the noisy family parties. The new table situation was perfect. Great staff really superb cocktails and lovely food. Another fantastic evening. We will be back soon!
