Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London. “A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. What an incredible experience. Amazing live jazz band, intimate setting, fresh seafood (including oysters)! It feels like a local treasure and I’m so glad I found this spot. I’ll be returning soon.

We took a client for lunch as a thanks for their business during the year - great venue, quality food and service and wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend it! A good few year since I had been but Galvin La Chapelle is just as good as it ever was!

Very original food, we had the prune, the egg, the iberico salad, the crozetto, the flatbread and dessert. Everything was amazing! The prune is served with an incredible balsamic vinegar, and is introduced as you would for a wine. This was already an experience in itself. All the other dishes were so flavoursome and the flatbread is a must-have! The dessert was a rhubarb cake served with a shot of rum, and was the perfect ending to a feast! We will definitely be back
