Populairste Franse restaurants in Lower Plenty

Outstanding in every way from the moment you enter. There was clearly a lot of thought behind the restaurant. The room is lovely, tables set with linen. The room feels serene and luxurious. The food is superb, modern French with an Australian accent. Every dish was outstanding. Service is relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend a dinner at Malin. I look forward to a return visit.

Frank was a great server, made the experience amazing

Tasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.

We had a lovely catch up at V Wine Bar prior to The Luke Combs concert on Sat 10/02/25. The hosts here are wonderful, friendly and warm, funny and charismatic. Great explanations of the wines and the surprise wine flight was a fun experience to do with friends. Even though the venue was busy, and the staff were under pressure we felt looked after and it was not too crowded. We would definitely return here again. Five stars!
