Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Crispy beer battered fish and specials such as sea bass, turbot and whole lobster, is caught in the morning and delivered fresh to us on the same day. Overall we had a great afternoon. The only thing I would like to mention is that the roast lamb was very tough and rubbery on the day. The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Crispy beer battered fish and specials such as sea bass, turbot and whole lobster, is caught in the morning and delivered fresh to us on the same day.

I chose the Greene Oak for a family birthday meal as the food never disappoints and we always receive great service. Today was no exception and they even did a small birthday dessert as a surprise which was much appreciated.
We will be back again soon!
The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive and very polite and pleasant. Overall we had a great afternoon. The only thing I would like to mention is that the roast lamb was very tough and rubbery on the day. Most of us actually left the meat as it was hard to chew.
Food was delicious and service excellent. We really enjoyed the meal. The lamb shank was beautifully cooked, chicken so moist. Would definitely recommend!
